I just got the installed

I just got the installed. Paired the with a Victorian multiplus ii and the run the ac perfectly. Bluetooth has worked great. I with there was away to connect them to the Victron system but I know that would add to the cost. Time will tell.

Great Addition to Motorhome

Other than Fed X delivering batteries 5 days apart everything else has been great. Installed in motorhome and they are staying balanced and recharge quickly. Bluetooth works great.

Seems to be a great battery

Seems to be a great battery. When I tried to pull more than 200 amps, the BMS shut it down like it is supposed to do. 2 of them, in parallel, power my 3500 watt inverter perfectly. A lot lighter than 3 group 29 deep cell batteries.

FAQs

No. Our heating system is triggered by charging input rather than continuously drawing stored battery energy while your RV is parked. When the cells are at or below 32°F and a charging source supplies more than 10A, incoming power is directed to heating first. Normal charging begins after the cells warm above 41°F. If the battery is sitting cold with no charger connected, the heater does not keep running and drains your 300Ah capacity.

The heating function needs more than 10A of charging input to activate. Early-morning or weak winter solar may not provide enough current immediately, so use a LiFePO4 charger or DC-to-DC charger when you need to warm a cold-soaked battery without waiting for stronger sunlight. Solar can take over normally once available charging current is sufficient and the cells have warmed above 41°F.

Yes. Freezing weather does not automatically mean you lose house power overnight. This Vatrer 12V 300Ah LiFePO4 battery can discharge at temperatures below 32°F, with low-temperature BMS protection preventing operation once conditions become too cold.

No. We designed this 12V 300Ah lithium battery for deep-cycle house power and energy storage, not engine cranking, and it does not carry a CCA function. Keep a dedicated starting battery for your RV engine or generator starter. Use this Vatrer battery for the house side of the system where its 300Ah capacity can run appliances, electronics, lighting, and other daily loads.

Yes, through a DC-to-DC charger. We recommend placing the DC-to-DC charger between the vehicle charging system and the RV lithium battery rather than connecting the LiFePO4 battery directly to the alternator. This regulates charging current and voltage while protecting the vehicle charging system.

A converter with a LiFePO4 charging profile is the right match. Our battery accepts a 14.2V–14.6V charging voltage, while older converters that remain around typical lead-acid float voltage may leave part of the 300Ah capacity unused. Disable equalization and desulfation modes. If your existing converter does not provide a lithium profile, replacing the charging section or adding a dedicated LiFePO4 charger gives the battery the correct charging cycle.

Not as a continuous 3000W load from a single battery. The built-in 200A BMS supports up to 2,560W of continuous battery output, so a 2000W inverter provides more operating headroom for one 300Ah LiFePO4 battery. If your system regularly needs around 3000W, use multiple identical batteries in parallel so the current is shared across the battery bank instead of pushing one BMS beyond its continuous rating.

Plan around 850W or more of solar with a 12V MPPT controller when your goal is to recover a large portion of the 3.84kWh capacity during a good sunny day. Our 850W solar example reaches about a 4.5-hour recharge under favorable sunlight. Winter installations benefit from combining solar with DC-to-DC or shore charging because shorter days and self-heating can reduce the amount of solar energy available for actual battery charging.

We recommend building the bank with identical Vatrer 12V 300Ah self-heating lithium batteries rather than mixing capacities, BMS ratings, heated and non-heated models, or different battery chemistries. Before connecting multiple batteries, bring them to a similar state of charge and voltage. Use balanced cabling when connecting them in parallel. This keeps current sharing more even as you expand the system up to the supported 4S4P configuration.

Yes, as long as the storage temperature remains within the battery's 14°F to 122°F storage range. In an unheated RV, cabin, or equipment compartment, disconnect unnecessary loads during long-term storage and keep the battery protected from standing water even though the case is IP65 rated. The heater does not continuously warm the battery while it is stored, so if the compartment will remain below 14°F, move the battery to a warmer space or use a temperature-controlled enclosure until the battery returns to service.
