It is especially useful for lifted carts, 4–6 passenger carts, frequent hills, heavier loads, and drivers who need strong power without pushing battery current as hard as a lower-voltage system.

If you mostly drive a stock cart on flat roads, a properly sized 48V system may already meet your needs. Moving to 72V should be based on the cart’s complete electrical system.
